Brea Lougheed is a Florida native. She grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida where she attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts. She is a graduate from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program where she earned her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Sociology. Throughout her dance career she has had the opportunity to work with many choreographers, including David Zambrano,  Jae Man Joo, Andre Tyson, Stefanie Batten Bland, Nicholas Villeneuve, Troy Powell, and Christopher Huggins. She has spent time dancing in Austria, France, Italy and Japan as well as training at programs such as LINES Ballet Summer Program, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Movement Invention Project, Dance Italia and Impulstanz. Over the past year Ms. Lougheed has been rigorously training with Lolita’s Legacy Teacher Training program. Lolita San Miguel is one of a few people that were trained by Joseph H. Pilates himself. Ms. Lougheed feels honored to be able to train under a Pilates legend and looks forward to paving a future in the Pilates world.
