Mariana comes from a background in dance and has been teaching movement since 2003. As a young dancer, Mariana suffered from recurrent injuries and a teacher suggested that she tried Pilates to help her recovery. Mariana found that Pilates was the best way to manage the pain and stay fit while recovering. Soon, her passion for teaching and her love for Pilates merged, leading to an intensive training course in Classical Pilates at the Dror Raz Israeli Center for Pilates in 2008.

Soon after, Mariana relocated to London where she continued to increase her understanding in movement, human anatomy and authenticity in the Pilates method by attending regular workshops and classes with some of the best mentors and teachers in the industry, as well as taught in some of the best studios in the capital. She has also been involves in designing the curriculum of the Teacher Training course at the Tamar Room studio in Israel.

Mariana is fascinated by the way Pilates builds strength through grace and loves sharing with others, the pleasure she derives from practicing it.   She joined the staff at The Pilates Movement in August of 2016.
